Work day today. I still feel new at my job because I’ve only been there for like 3-4 months but am enjoying the work I’m doing so that’s the main thing.
From being made redundant in a finance position then spending the last 6 months only studying and not working has been tough. I’m continuing the study next year but will be cutting back on how many units so I can focus more on work.
I’m working for a freight company and I don’t know if I’m enjoying it so much because I haven’t worked in 6 months or just because I enjoy working, but freight companies are good. I feel like I’m back in the game… I firmly believe that logistics, freight, transport type businesses are going to be huge due to everyone now just orders their shit online.
Pay is good for afternoon/night work. The work itself is a bit physical but nothing stupid. It’s just easy money and in my current position there is no additional responsibility at the moment so don’t take anything home with me from work, unlike my previous position. But knowing myself the more experience I get the more I am willing to take on responsibility – dunno this could lead a new/different career path.
Been playing the new NBA 2k19 game. Pretty good so far but have only really have played the MyCareer mode where you create your own player and try and make it in the league. This time trying to play as a 7 foot, 3-point shooting centre.
