Well should have studied…but decided to game the day away once again (gee I wonder why I wasn’t happy with my last exam?). Played the game Hearts of Iron 4 which is a grand strategy, world war 2 simulator. Really good game but with a lot of games like this they have a steep learning curve and you have to sink a fair bit of time into them to get the idea of what you are meant to do. I’ve got about 200 hours out of it so far and I feel I’ve got the hang of most of the basics but definitely not an expert. Still if you like strategy games it is worth the money.
Went to the gym today. Trying to find the energy to consistently go but struggling at the moment. I’m the opposite to most people I like to gym through the winter months and once spring hits I don’t feel like going. I have a home gym setup in a shed with mainly free weights, it’s pretty spartan so it gets really cold in winter and really hot in summer hence why I feel more comfortable in winter because in summer you feel rooted before you even get out there. Had a great winter for lifting this year though, I mainly stick to the power lifts bench, squat and deadlift. This year because I had more free time from not working I found I could eat better, sleep as much as I need and my lifts just shot up quickly in 6 months. I want to make another big push next year to increase my strength further because my power to weight ratio is not good and I feel just healthier when I’m consistently going. My diet gets better too…
